Fort Worth Wedding Photographer | Marty Leonard | Chateau at Forest Park | Mandy + Ryan

Mandy and Ryan got married at my favorite venue, Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth. Yes, I am bias because this is where we got married.:)Mandy and Ryan planned for their ceremony to start after sunset and they came to me specifically because of my lighting expertise at night. Mandy got ready at her maid of honor’s house with all of her bridesmaids while Ryan was hanging out with the groomsmen at The Worthington Hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Rhonda Baker of Precisely as Planned was the day of coordinator and she did an amazing job making sure everything ran smoothly all day.

All of you probably know by now that I love ring shots. But I am seriously in love with these rings and matching Mr and Mrs boxes. Mandy’s gorgeous ring came from Diamond Doctor in Dallas, TX.

Mandy and Ryan chose to do a first look and see each other before the ceremony so that we could do a majority of their portraits outside while it was still daylight. The timing was perfect. We captured the natural light portraits right before the ceremony and were able to get some dramatic shots at night after the ceremony.

The architecture is amazing and I never get tired of shooting there.  fort-worth-wedding-photographer-marty-leonard-ceremony-040image to pinterest Mandy looked simply breathtaking in her Morilee by Madeline Gardner wedding dress.  fort-worth-wedding-photographer-marty-leonard-ceremony-041image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-marty-leonard-ceremony-042image to pinterest

After their beautiful ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel, Mandy and Ryan had their reception at Chateau at Forest Park. All I can say is this group knows how to party! This was definitely my kind of wedding. I feel like we got a million dance photos, and that’s a good thing!

I just love the way Ryan looks at Mandy. You can tell he simply adores her. And he obviously knows how to make her laugh.:)fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-044image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-045image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-046image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-047image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-048image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-049image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-050image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-051image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-052image to pinterest

I always strive to create something unique for each couple at their wedding. This shot below was created by putting two candles close together and then shooting through the candle flame with the couple in between. This, along with three off camera flashes strategically placed around the couple, created this beautiful (almost magical) effect you see in the photo below. It’s one of my favorite reception images I have ever taken. Having gorgeous subjects helps too!  fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-053image to pinterest fort-worth-wedding-photographer-chateau-at-forest-park-reception-054image to pinterest

Congratulations, Mandy and Ryan. I couldn’t be happier for you two. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this special day for you. I’m so happy I was able to be a party of it.
